Hee Hee!

My emotions are running wild with regards to this whole Michael Jackson comeback fiasco (Michael Jackson to Play Residency at 02Arena). I’m mortified, amused, sceptical, curious and nonplussed. If I’m scared for him, I wonder how the man himself must be feeling right now? Probably quaking in his glitter spangled socks as I write this. Can’t even imagine him lasting through 5 song set, yet alone a gruelling 10 night tour (or even 30 according to some reports). Yet despite this, a teeny weeny part of me wants to go to catch a piece of history, however catastrophic it might end up being. What do you all think? Will you be the first in line to cop a ticket, or do you think it's all one big con?

I saw him @ the World Musis Awards a few years ago...he killed my lifelong dream the minute he tried to compete with Chris "I've done messed up" Brown.

It was POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR, so unless he thinks he's gonna leave the work to his fans to make this string of shows even remotely nostalgic, I'm expecting he's gonna have to BRING IT.

And will I be buying a ticket?

No. :-)

(Although I'm kicking myself for not seeing Prince.)

Matilda, I totally hear you. His appearance at the World Music Awards was totally shambolic. At that point I realised that it really is curtain call for MJ. Come to think of it the writing was clearly on the wall after that dog awful performance he did with Justin and N Sync at the MTV Awards or whatever ceremony it was a few years back. BUT, and there's always a but, what if he miraculously pulls it off? And even if the moves aren't as pretty as circa 1986 wouldn't it be great to go along just for a taste of nostalgia? Then again £75 + is a lot of dough, lol.

Re: Prince, girl you missed out, but no doubt he'll tour again. Unlike MJ he seems mentally stable and is as fit as a fiddle.

he might have been preparing for awhile. i do not envision him to be 100% as he was back in teh day. though teh show will be interesting. i do wonder why he chose London though. i am amazed at the amount of people who have already registered 350k for a ticket. wow
